Disturb Me Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Disturb Me lets chosen conversations through Do Not Disturb. To do that it needs access to the notifications other apps post on your phone. This policy explains what that means for your data. It covers both Disturb Me and the Disturb Me for Auto add-on. Disturb Me is made by True DevOps.
What the app accesses
With your permission (Android "Notification access"), Disturb Me reads the notifications other apps post, including the sender, conversation name and message text. It uses them only to check them against the rules you created, and to show matching ones while Do Not Disturb is on.
What is stored
- Your rules: the app name and conversation name you chose. Stored on your phone only.
- Your settings: for example whether relays ring at alarm volume. Stored on your phone only.
- The Recent list: the latest notifications, so you can create rules from them. Kept in memory only and cleared whenever the app restarts.
- Nothing else is stored.
What is shared
Nothing leaves your phone. Disturb Me does not send, upload or share notification contents or any other personal data with the developer or with third parties. It contains no ads, analytics or tracking.
Replies
If you reply from a relayed notification, your reply is passed to the app that posted the original notification, the same way replying from that app's own notification would.
Purchases
The Pro upgrade is sold through Google Play. Payment is handled by Google; the app only learns whether Pro has been purchased. See Google's privacy policy.
Removing your data
Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. You can revoke notification access at any time in Android Settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here and in the app, with a new date.
